Khalid ibn al-Walid (592–642 CE) was one of history’s most legendary military commanders and a close companion of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. Known as “Saifullah al-Maslul” — the Drawn Sword of Allah — he led numerous campaigns that shaped the early Islamic world.
